What is #MusicWithMeaning2020-04-28T13:58:16+00:00

#MusicWithMeaning is a live-music series, created by Music for Mental Wealth and is now used as our primary awareness campaign.

The series was designed to build a community of open conversation around mental wellbeing in the creative industries whilst supporting artists in the process.

Encouraging the #StayAtHome movement, protecting the NHS frontline workers and saving lives, we have taken #MusicWithMeaning online.

Find out more how you can get involved below.

Can anyone get involved?2020-04-28T13:23:23+00:00

YES! Whether you’re a musician, artist, dancer, or poet we want to hear the stories behind your art.

Who does MMW help?2020-04-28T13:21:18+00:00

We focus on preventative mental health measures for artists, performers and those around the music industry. Our priority is to equip them with the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to successfully navigate career highs and lows and make healthy choices that support happier lives.

How do I submit a video?2020-04-28T13:45:01+00:00

Simply upload it to your social media accounts, tag @_musicformentalwealth_ and use #musicwithmeaning. Our team will see it and share your video to our pages.

Why is prevention important?2020-04-28T13:39:47+00:00

We believe that there is far more scope for interventions that reduce people developing mental health problems and increase the potential for sustained recovery for those that do.

Our main focus is to support and empower individuals and organisations with the knowledge and tools to increase their resilience to mental health challenges, value their well-being and enjoy their careers and lives.

Who should I nominate?2020-04-28T13:38:55+00:00

Nominate your favourite artist and an independent up and coming artist.

What mental health services are available?2020-04-28T13:40:28+00:00

We offer one-to-one coaching, group workshops and bespoke well-being programmes to musicians and music industry professionals.

How long can my video be?2020-04-28T13:44:28+00:00

Try keeping the meaning behind your song to under 1:30. The performance of your song can be as long as you’d like.

Do you only help musicians?2020-04-28T13:39:55+00:00

As a not-profit organisation our expertise and focus is on aiding artits and musicians within the music industry with preventative mental health services.

Is this a fundraiser?2020-04-28T13:39:03+00:00

No, our aim is to empower musicians to share their stories and encourage open conversations around mental health.
